A practice for people who feel stuck
You know the loop. The same fight, the same wall, the same Monday morning. I work with people who feel caught in something they cannot quite name. Together we look at what is underneath, and we change it. Slowly, carefully, in your own time.
Most of what people try to change with willpower, the habits, the reactions, the way you handle stress, runs deeper than a decision. It is automatic. The body does it before the thinking mind gets a vote.
That is not a flaw. That is how we are built. The work is not to fight it harder. The work is to find where the pattern lives, understand what it is protecting, and change it from the inside. I am Ali Najef Abu Ita. I do this work with people, one conversation at a time.
How a side practice became a practice.
By day I’m a Technical ITAM Consultant. Software asset management inside enterprise estates, the regulated kind where a broken upgrade has real consequences. The work is precise and I am good at it.
Some years ago I finished an Ericksonian Hypnotherapy practitioner course at UNLP in the Netherlands. Then I finished an NLP practitioner course at the same school. Both left the same problem: theory without practice is just vocabulary. I needed people to work with.
So I put an advert on Facebook. Free sessions, no strings. If anyone wanted to sit with me while I practiced, I would sit with them.
The number of people who said yes grew slowly. Months of one or two at a time. Slowly the theory I had studied became patterns I had watched resolve in the room. I went back to repeat the hypnotherapy modules more than once. I find it absolutely fascinating how powerful the unconscious mind is. I’m currently adding an NLP Master certification through David Key’s program to keep sharpening the craft on raw, real-world coaching recordings.
Three months ago I crossed my fortieth session. That is not a credential in any formal sense. It is enough practice to know what the work is, and what it is not.
During the course I underwent hypnotherapy myself. That is when something shifted. An urge to express myself in ways I had not wanted or needed before. The writing started and has not stopped. From ITAM and AI engineering to international law, psychology, and identity, I write about what I see threads between. It does not make me an expert. It makes me someone who notices patterns across fields.
Slowly I started thinking: maybe I should put up a site. See if the people who need this work can find me, the same way the people on Facebook did. And somewhere to put down the writing.
This is that site.

Three ways in. We pick the one that fits what you bring, or mix them. You stay awake, in charge, and heard the whole way through.
A relaxed, guided conversation. You stay aware the whole time. We work with the part of you that already knows what it needs, and let the rest catch up. Most people leave feeling lighter than they walked in.
Looking at the patterns in how you think and react. Once we can see a pattern clearly, we can change it. Useful for habits you can’t shake, reactions that fire too fast, and old beliefs that don’t fit who you are now.
Direct, practical work. We name what is going on, find what is in the way, and build a new way forward. Good for when you are capable, you know what you want, but something keeps getting in the way of doing it.
You probably know what brought you here. If your reason is on this list, we can work with it.
Anxiety, stress, overwhelm
Reactions, patterns, urges
Confidence, focus, follow-through
Beliefs, identity, self-image
You can come for a single session, or we can work together over time. Most people notice something shift after 3 or 4 sessions. Bigger changes tend to land across 10 sessions or so.
Notes from the practice, the work, and what I notice across fields. Posted when something lands.
Tell me a little about what brought you here. I’ll write back within a couple of days. Everything you share stays between us.
